History
The Wisconsin FFA Foundation was founded in 1983 with the primary goal of seeking funds to run state-level FFA programs. The Foundation was started by Arnold and Katherine Cordes in their house where they made one-on-one contacts, kept records by hand, and raised about $85,700 over the first two years. Over 25 years later, we now do much of our correspondence through email and direct mail, all records are kept electronically, and we raise about $300,000 annually. Even through all the growth and change, we remain good stewards in the sense that we humbly employ just two people and less than 20 percent of all funds raised are used for administrative purposes. We look forward to continual growth!
